Meet Dr. Andrew Zufall

Dr. Andrew Zufall was born and raised in Redding, where he grew up around his dad’s dental office. Between leading Boy Scout camping trips, playing saxophone at jazz festivals, and fishing on the lake, he found plenty of time to hang out around the office and see what it meant to be a dentist firsthand.
After graduating from Shasta High School (go, Wolves!), Dr. Andrew attended UC Davis, where he earned a BS in Psychology and met his wife, Lindsay. Following graduation, he prepared to apply to dental school by completing a Post Baccalaureate degree at Oregon State University and earning his registered dental assistant license.

In 2018, Dr. Andrew and Lindsay moved to SoCal to attend dental and veterinary school at Western University in Pomona. At Western, he was a three-time recipient of the Student of the Year Award, and was accepted to the National Dental School Honor Society. After the pair completed their degrees (not to mention quite a few national park camping trips and many, many visits to Disneyland), they moved to Cottonwood, where Lindsay currently works for the Cottonwood Veterinary Clinic.

He additionally serves as the Ethics Chair of the Northern California Dental Society, as well as an adjunct faculty member at Shasta College Hygiene School.
When not perfecting smiles, Dr. Andrew can usually be found on a bike, whether road biking in the Cottonwood ranchlands or mountain biking in the Swasey Recreation Area. He also stays busy hiking, paddleboarding, camping, and working on projects to house and entertain his growing family of animals, which includes border collies Ryder and Oakley, and Lemon the goat.
